• Shipping is only available to addresses in the United States and Canada.
  • Free shipping is available to addresses in the contiguous United States on orders over $179. 
  • HI, AK, PR, and USVI customers please note the chart below. Some products may not be shipped to your region due to air freight restrictions and/or damage concerns. 
  • Please be aware that shipping to hot and humid climates and prolonged exposure to high temperatures during shipment may cause damage to soap and other sensitive products such as lotions, lip balms, and wax tarts. 

Order Processing
Processing times for stocked items is usually 1-3 business days. During times of peak demand, processing times may extend to 3-5 days for stocked items. To ensure that you receive the freshest products of the highest possible quality, some products, such as bulk lotions, lip balms, bath salts, body powders, beard oil, lotion bars, wax melts, insect repellent, and face oils are made to order and may add an additional 1-3 business days to the processing time of an order. Please refer to the chart below for estimated processing times for each product type. Please note that orders containing multiple product types will be shipped when the last product type is processed.

Shipping Carriers
UPS Ground
UPS is now our preferred carrier and the default for all free shipping. 
UPS Ground delivers Monday through Friday (and Saturdays to some areas)

USPS Priority Mail
USPS Priority Mail is used to ship all orders to addresses in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Real-time tracking is not available for this service. Please note that we may ship larger orders via LTL freight when shipping to Alaska.

Damaged Items
On occasion, some products may arrive damaged as a result of rough handling by the carrier. In the event of damaged goods, Adams Handmade Soap will gladly issue a store credit, refund, or replacement order for damaged items. Please email us with a description of the damaged items and a photo if possible.

Incorrect Products
Unfortunately, mistakes do happen. If you receive an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible. We are more than happy to get the correct products shipped or issue a refund or credit for the missing items.

Lost Packages
If a package has been lost in shipment, please contact the Carrier as soon as possible with your tracking number and report that your packaging has been lost. Once you have completed this step, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you to recover your package or file a claim. 

All claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect products must be filed within 30 days of the stated delivery date of your package. Adams Handmade Soap will not be liable for any claims filed after this time frame.

Our products are handmade and many are made to order, including bath salts, lip balms, lotion bars and other bulk quantity items. For this reason, we do not automatically offer a refund for these products if you would like to return the product. However, if the product is not as described, we will gladly hear your case and a return will be considered. In either case the customer will likely be responsible for return shipping costs. If a return is accepted, a 25% restocking fee may be applied at the discretion of Adams Handmade Soap. Please note that we will not be able to accept returns of custom or made-to-order items. Any items that have been altered by the customer after being received may not be returned of refunded. 

Order Additions
Once your order has been received and is in processing by our fulfillment team, no additional items may be added to the order. 

Order Cancellations
An order may be cancelled if our customer service team receives the request prior to the order being shipped. A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount for all standard products that can be restocked. No refund will be given for any custom or made-to-order items. An order may not be cancelled once it has been shipped.

Shipping Customer Provided Materials 
In the event that a customer is providing a particular material or ingredient,  all customer provided supplies or materials that are sent to our warehouse must first be approved before shipment. If custom packaging, supplies, or materials are required for a specific order, that order must be placed in advance of the shipment. Please contact [email protected] to make us aware of your shipment and to receive specific instructions on how and where to ship your materials. Materials that are shipped without our prior knowledge may be refused and returned. Adams Handmade Soap assumes no responsibility for any materials, products, or supplies that are shipped without our prior knowledge and approval.
