This liquid castile soap is made with organic oils, organic aloe, water and potassium hydroxide and citric acid. Coconut oil for cleaning and lather, sunflower and olive oil for a gentle feel and castor for the extra fluffy bubbles. The addition of organic aloe adds a soft and hydrating finish. We found that most castile soaps on the market are often thin or even watery. However our soap is thick and unadulterated with gums for a wide range of applications.

In true natural soap formulating our soap is balanced in the range of 9-10 pH. The process of making the soap requires no preservatives to keep the soap fresh. Our recommended shelf life is 1 year from manufacturing date but will likely keep for 2-3 years. Each Gallon weighs approximately 132oz. This liquid soap is more concentrated than many leading brands and will be effective in small amounts. If you are going to experiment with diluting the soap we recommend only using distilled water for the best performance. Also not all fragrances work with this soap. Even some that do work will change how the soap looks. Effects that can take place are darkening, a hazy film, or even cloudiness throughout the soap. This does not always indicate that the soap is ruined but rather just a change in the aesthetics.
If you are planning on scenting we find that 1% fragrance load is a great place to start and might work well for most fragrances. However, you may find that more or less is ideal for your situation. We also find that increasing the temperature of the soap can help with incorporating fragrances into the solution but may not be needed in all cases. We recommend testing a new fragrance in a small sample and leaving it for 24 hours to see how it reacts before mixing into your gallon or 5 gallon as some changes take time to settle in.
