Formulated with no added colors, no fragrances and a concentrated aloe content this simple aloe gel is perfect straight or added into other cosmetic products. While performance was the key factor for this gel we still wanted to stay close to our roots in natural products. In doing so we replaced the common synthetic gel agent, carbomer, with plant-based hydroxyethylcellulose. This natural cellulose hydrates into a thick and almost clear gel while giving a silky soft finish to the skin once dry. The use of tetrasodium glutamate diacetate; a plant-based and biodegradable alternative to the more common EDTA, helps boost the natural preservatives along with assisting in the needed pH adjusting. So whether you choose to incorporate it into products for an added boost, or decide to use it as a stand alone product with scent, we are sure that you’ll be pleased with the smooth feel and soothing and hydrating finish.There is a natural tan/golden hue imparted from the aloe and cellulous, bulk amounts will take on an opaque and slightly tan appearance. Scent can be added in small amounts with proper mixing. Caution, not all fragrance may work and we suggest you try on a small samples size. Estimated fragrance load if adding is 0.5% - 1% but will be dependent on your needs and the IFRA data of the specific fragrance.Ingredients: Aloe Juice Concentrate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate.
