| Stearic Acid is a natural occurring "fatty acid" from vegetable or animal sources. We only use vegetable source stearic acid. Stearic acid is often used for its moisturizing and hardening benefits in soap and this is why we like "shea butter", which is high in stearic acid. This product also helps "pull oils together" in the soap making process. |
